Statement of Faith

1. There is only one GOD, “Elohim” in Hebrew. The Hebrew word “echad” translated as “one” really means “unity in one” [Deuteronomy 6:4]. A man and a woman are “echad” [two in one flesh – Genesis 2:24].

2. There are three persons in Elohim: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory: this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all things. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:7)

3. God has revealed His many Names to us, each of which gives us a clue to His character and Divine Nature, but one Name stands out: YAHWEH [יהוה: yodh, he, waw, he].

4. YAHWEH means “I AM WHO I AM,” [Exodus 3:14]- the self-existent one, with no beginning and no end.

5. We believe that the 66 Books of the Old and New Testaments are the fully inspired Word of God, without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice. The doctrines, practice and governance of the Church must be based entirely on the Word of God. We believe that the King James version of the Bible is the most trustworthy version. Other versions of the Bible contain dangerous corruptions and omissions.

6. We believe in the person of Yeshua HaMashiach [Jesus Christ], The Word, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit to take on the likeness of sinful flesh, yet without sin [Romans 8:3]. We believe in His virgin birth, miracles and teachings, his substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven. He will return at the end of this age to destroy the wicked and establish His righteous Kingdom to be headquartered in Israel. (Isaiah 7:14; Micah 5:2; Matthew 1:23; Mark 16:19; Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1-2, 8:58, 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 1:2; Revelation 1:8)

7. We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit Who was sent by the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement. He brings about the new birth to give those who trust in Christ a clean heart and a new spirit. He quickens us to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry. (Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 3:18; John 16:8-11; Romans 15:13,16; Hebrews 9:14)

8. Anyone who repents and trusts in the atoning work of Yeshua on the stake [cross] and undergoes baptism by immersion will receive the Holy Spirit. His job is to teach us and guide us into all truth and obedience to God (Acts 2:38; John 14:16-17, 16:8-11; Acts 5:32).

9. We believe that, because of the disobedience of Adam & Eve, all people are sinners. We fall short of the glory of God and deserve eternal condemnation as our wages of sin, but the free gift of God is eternal life through the atoning sacrifice of Yeshua. By His mercy, God regenerates those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. (Romans 3:23, 6:23; Titus 3:4-6)

10. We believe that each local church that is properly built upon the foundation of the Apostles of Yeshua [except Judas Iscariot, the son of perdition] and the Prophets of the Bible, with Yeshua Himself being the Corner Stone & Head, belong to the household of God and constitute a Holy Temple unto Him. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 2:19-22)

11. We believe in the resurrection from the dead: the righteous to eternal life and the wicked to eternal damnation [Daniel 12:2-3; John 5:28-29].

12. We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ when He will descend visibly and gloriously to earth to destroy the wicked and gather all kingdoms and authority into His Hands. He will reign from Jerusalem and rule with a rod of iron for 1000 years, after which Satan and the wicked will be judged and consigned to the Lake of Fire. The present earth & heavens will be destroyed and replaced by a glorious new Heaven & Earth. (Matthew 16:27, 24:29-30; Acts 1:11; Revelation 20:11-15)

13. We believe in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell and that all those who place their faith, hope and trust in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord, while those who rejected Jesus’ free gift of salvation will spend eternity being tormented in Hell & the eventual Lake of Fire. (Matthew 5:3, 25:31-34; 1 Peter 1:4; Psalm 9:17; Matthew 5:22, 18:9; Luke 12:5; Mark 9:43-48)

14. We believe in the Pre-Wrath Rapture when those who are called, chosen and faithful will meet the Lord in the air and be taken out of this world between the 6th & 7th seals in the Book of Revelation. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-54; Revelation 17:14, 19:7-8)

15. We believe in the literal fulfilment of all the prophecies written in the Bible, although some might be difficult to interpret because of the imagery and symbols used, like the books of Daniel & Revelation. Nevertheless, whatever is hidden in symbolism will be revealed in these end times.

16. We believe that, in these last days, YAHWEH will redeem Israel because of His promises to Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. The Israelites will have to go through the 7-year Tribulation period, also known as the time of Jacob’s Trouble [Daniel 9:24-27; Jeremiah 30:7]. In 1948, Israel was reborn as a nation in one day, setting in motion the time clock for the last days [Isaiah 66:8]. The times of the Gentiles are rapidly drawing to a close [Luke 21:24]. At the end of the 7-year Tribulation, Yeshua will return to vanquish all the nations of the earth and set up His Kingdom in Zion: “The law shall go forth from Zion and the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem” [Isaiah 2:1-3; Micah 4:2].
